Ambassador Jo Ann Blackmon is a Holy Ghost-filled, Spirit-led minister, author, prophetic teacher, and founder of J A Blackmon Word Publishing, LLC and The Word Publishing Ministry. Her work is rooted in a God-ordained writing calling that began unfolding in 2021, when the Holy Spirit gave her the vision in parts. Since then, Blackmon has understood her writing, ministry, and publishing work as part of a larger assignment to expand the Kingdom of God through words, biblical knowledge, and Spirit-led revelation.

Blackmon’s calling includes both a business side and a ministry side. Through J A Blackmon Word Publishing, LLC, she works in the professional writing field, including services as a Federal EEO Independent Contractor and EEO Contract Writer. This side of the work reflects her commitment to excellence, clarity, and purposeful communication. Through the ministry side, Blackmon leads The Word Publishing Ministry, an online ministry dedicated to teaching, encouraging, and sharing the Word of God. Her ministry also includes the Scribe Ministry, where she publishes biblical themes as the Holy Spirit reveals them to her.

The title Ambassador reflects Blackmon’s understanding of her calling according to 2 Corinthians 5:20, which speaks of believers as ambassadors for Christ. For her, the title is not merely honorary; it is a statement of assignment, identity, and service. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology, Blackmon brings insight into human behavior, relationships, and spiritual growth. She is especially passionate about love, interpersonal relationships, and marital relationships. Her educational background, ministry experience, and personal testimony come together in her writing, allowing her to speak to matters of the heart with both biblical conviction and practical understanding.

Her first book, God’s Principles to Matrimony: Doing It God’s Way, grew out of her own journey through broken relationships, divorce, and a desire to understand relationship patterns more deeply. What began as a personal search eventually became a biblical message for single Christian women who desire marriage. In the book, Blackmon addresses the longing for marriage while warning against allowing that desire to become an idol. Her message encourages readers to seek first the kingdom of God, pursue wholeness, and prepare for marriage according to God’s order, timing, and principles.
